June update

Hello! How are you????
I am doing .....alright.
Well, we have had to postpone the shop opening....My Dad just had surgery again and my mother is out if town caring for her Brothers, so I have "Dad duty"!

I had a few last minute things to tie up anyway so perhaps it is for the best!!!

I just fell down the steps at the store .....I really thought for a few seconds that I had broken something! Can you imagine???That is just what I need!

Mom will hopefully be home in a few weeks so that I can have a little break from the girls,I do love them but we all need some time to regroup ....hubby works sixty hours per week with a hour each way commute so he is not around much to help in the "normal" daytime hours.

Oh well!!!

I really should update this sad little blog more often, I just have had no time! Hopefully I will have more time soon!

We had a pretty nice day here and I Hope that you did as well!
I received not one but three bouquets of flowers one from each child and one from Hubby.
I was served Eggs Benedict in bed and allowed to sleep in ....yippee!

What a great response to my request regarding the shop ....Thanks everyone.
I am still putting together orders if you have not heard from me and you are concerned drop me a line!!!
I cannot wait to see all of this wonderful stuff in one place!!!

On another note they finally came and hooked up the high speed Internet at the store and I am in hog heaven !!!!!I can actually down/upload in seconds and it is sooooo nice! High speed Internet I have missed you so much! It is funny what you take for granted..... and when it is taken from you it really is a shock to the old system!!!I am really looking forward to checking in with you all and reading your back logs and see what the heck has been going on with you!!!
I have a tag that I will pass on tomorrow and a few pictures of the shop to show I am still a long way from finished but I am taking baby steps in the right direction!

Shop happy!

Well..... I have had a little pet project in mind and it is finally coming to frutition.

As some of you may know I used to have a shop of my own. And a transfer for my husband the end of my lease and a pregnacy put an end to that! But I have finally taken steps to reopen My very own shop. I had been working with another shop last year and it really made me want my own again!!!

We will open in a month.Ack!

Now I will tell you how this may effect you!

Well, I am sure we all know how many talented girls that thrive in blogland!

If anyone is interested I would like to purchase some of your wares at a price that is set by you and resell them to a whole new audience her in PA. I have not found anyhing locally to compare to the fabulous things that you all come up with and I would love to share the wonder with my customers and hopefully give you more business too!

Say What's up doc?? or otherwise known as where the hell have I been!

Say.... what's up doc?????

Well, if you would like to know where I have been I have been hiding? Well to tell you the truth I have been hiding under/unpacking moving boxes and trying to put our lives back together after the move from hell. With the holidays smack in the middle I have been in some kind of winter funk and I am slowly emerging.

The move was straight up hell...... the weather, the unorganized packing and many other assorted drama and I was completely immobilized by the whole mess.I have not pursued any artistic pursuits since the move unless you count our home schooling art projects which are a necessity. Our Internet here is by satellite. as we cannot get anything other than dial up here and we have had other issues such as no service due to months of ice and snow built up on the satellite which knocks out the service.

( we still get to pay our monthly fee though... whoopee)

and unless you pay the 300.00 a month fee there are daily megabite restrictions

HughesNet you are bunch of thieves!

We are paying double what most pay for high speed unlimited and we have a lot of service blackouts and restrictions not to mention the other computer issues which included a major computer overhaul, yippee!

I have just discovered that uploading pictures takes a really long time... ugghhh!

Patience will have to be my guide as I try to get back into this bloggy thing.

I really have missed blogging and all the sweet friends but, the computer problems have really been a real pain and I have not exactly had a lot of patience with anything lately.

I do not know about your area but, there is a serious lack of artistic community here it is soooo depressing. In blog world I have met so many great artists and friends! I feel so disconnected here in the country it is beautiful and a little lonely most of my local friends are now anywhere from 30 minute to an hour away.

The winters here are horrendous ,it has been freezing cold and miserable!
This was supposed to be the year we moved south! The only thing that will be going south is the dream to move south! Thanks sucky economy for that one!!!
Oh well, enough boo hooing I am ready for spring and ready to pick myself up by the boot straps.
Again, I say Welcome spring!!!!

Welcome Spring!!!!

We are moooving!

We are moving! How exciting is that???Well yes and no!!! We have about six weeks to take down the swing set ,play house and clean out the attic ,basement and garage all the while doing the anti-snow dance and keeping up with all of our other personal and professional duties!
The good news we are moving to the country about an hour from here , we will be closer to my parent's and we will be able to get Isabelle back into school! The bad news is having to pack and move all of our stuff right smack in the middle of the holidays!
I will probably not be around to much from now until Christmas but I hope that you are all well and I will check in on you as soon as I can!
